Hello everyone just wanted to share this product review of an awesome product I have found recently which is the Lotta Body Moisturise Me Curl & Style Milk. I have recently started using this product in conjunction with my own brand of moisturiser the Wura’s Secret Hair Moisturiser and I must say I have gained good results from the Lotta Body Curl & Style Milk.
On the product bottle the Lotta Body Curl & Style Milk is said to contain Coconut & Shea Oils. It has 3 main product claims which are clearly stated in front it defines curls, tames frizz and adds moisture and brilliant shine. Another reason why I like this product is because it is clearly stated to be for people with relaxed and natural hair.
The Lotta Body Curl & Style Milk is said to deeply hydrate hair from the inside out, leaving hair soft and nourished with brilliant shine. It moisturises dry, frizzy hair for springy hydrated curls. It also detangles, conditions and controls curls while adding brilliant shine, body and bounce.
Product Instructions: Apply to damp, towel-dried or dry hair. Distribute evenly through hair with fingers from roots to ends. Style as desired.
Ingredients: Aqua (Water (Eau), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Parfum (Fragrance), Dicetyldimonium Chloride, Cetirmonium Chloride, Panthenol, Polyquaternium-37, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Phenyl Trimethicone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Polysorbate 60, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, PEG-150 Distearate, Ceteareth -20, Tocopheryl Acetate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Isopropyl Alcohol, Sodium Acetate, Lauryl Glucoside, Coumarin, Limonene, Dizolidinyl Urea, Methylisothiazolinone
It can be used on all hair types i.e. whether your hair is natural or relaxed. I think this is important as I like when products are meant to cater to all hair types and do not place unnecessary restrictions on certain hair types.
It acts as a good hair moisturiser and keeps your hair feeling hydrated over a long period of time.
If you have coarse hair like me, it would help to soften your hair slightly.
It gives good curl definition.
I really love the dispenser top it makes the product extremely easy to use.
It can be used for all hair types and I particularly recommend it for those with low porosity hair (in fact regardless of your hair’s porosity I do believe it would work well), it does not contain a lot of protein.
I quite like packaging of this product; I think the Lotta Body line is being responsive to what its customers want.
It is also at a reasonable price point.
It is slightly thicker and creamier than I would have liked but I suppose this is necessary when it comes to ensuring your curls are well defined.
Rating – 4.5/5 (Very good) I definitely recommend this product
Now on to the wash day results, here I took a picture of the voluminous bun I put my hair in after it was done air drying in two plaits/braids. After washing and deep conditioning my hair. I let it air dry using only the Lotta Body Curl & Style Milk. I also applied my Wura’s Secret Hair Growth Oil to my scalp and used it to seal my hair.
If you have used any other Lotta Body Products please share your experience with them or if you have any other good hair moisturiser recommendations I would love to hear them.
I will be announcing the winner of the New Beginnings Hair Growth Challenge in my next post which will be up soon, so if you want to win this is the final call please refer to this post here for more details.
