After my hair suffered severe breakage during the winter season (due to inadequate knowledge/care), I turned to my grandmother for help with her herbal hair remedies. My hair responded to the natural treatments and soon became healthier and longer than it had ever been.
Thus, the idea for Wura’s Secret was born. Our product line is named after my grandmother and the name “Wura” means gold in the Yoruba language. It signifies the popular saying in Yoruba culture “iya ni wura’ meaning “mother is gold”.
We pride ourselves in creating result-driven hair products using pure, natural ingredients, ethically sourced in West Africa. It is our belief that everyone can achieve longer, healthier hair.
At Wura’s Secret, we celebrate our client’s choices and want them to feel comfortable in their own hair. This is the core reason why our products are made to suit all hair types and needs. We have product lines for ladies, as well as kids and babies. We have also recently introduced a men’s line which is available on request.
