Hello my loves I am back again with another post as promised just in time for Valentine’s Day. The theme for this Valentine’s Day Look for me was blush pink and roses. I absolutely adore blush pink because it is such a soft and pretty colour. Roses on the other hand are some of the most beautiful flowers. This look I created is for anyone who may have plans for a romantic evening, i.e. dinner out somewhere nice and intimate or just going out to have fun in general with friends. It is my usual simple fuller bun but I decided to wear a flower in my hair. I kept the entire look simple with minimal makeup and pearl earrings which always add a touch of elegance to an outfit which by the way is blush pink

This is another hair style I created, for an edgier look using your own hair, nothing says edgier better than hair that is pulled to the very top in a loose or tight bun. I created this look making sure that I pulled my hair all the way up to give a dramatic effect. I already have a hair tutorial for both these looks here simply place the bun higher to achieve this particular look.

I decided to also share some of the products and makeup I used as well. I normally never wear foundation but I decided to for this Valentine’s Day Look and I used my fingers for the most part for a more natural finish. I used some of my favourite Rose scent products, Tresor Midnight Rose, Bvlgari Rose Essentielle and The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Fragrance Mist as well as my favourite Body lotion by Clarins which has the loveliest smell.

For this simple make up look I used the MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NC44.5, Mac Pro Longwear Concealer in NC42, Mac Studio Fix Powder in NC45, Sleek Eye shadow Palette in Oh So Beautiful, Sleek Blush in Coral, Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks in Pink in the Afternoon and Coral Berry, Rimmel London Eyebrow Pencil in Black Brown and Eye Pencil in Black Magic.

In keeping with the Rose theme I also had some Cadbury Chocolate Roses whilst getting ready and also lit one of my favourite Yankee Candles, it is Valentine after all.

I hope you all enjoyed these two hairstyles I created for Valentine’s Day and the post which is a bit different from what I normally do. Please share how you wore your hair and makeup for Valentine.

TONKABELLE, xoxo

“I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it (anywhere I go you go, my dear;
and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)
I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)
I want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)”
